yuroz
yuroz is the artist of the people. Lovers, musicians, poets, athletes, the homeless, and even refugees fill his canvases, drawing forth the spectrum of emotions and moods that reside deep in the human soul. His ability to bring this soulful human quality to fruition through his art stems from his own life experience filled with art from a very young age, and architecture in his formative years to round out his implicit knowledge and understanding of how angels and lines must converge to create the lovely curves of the human form.
born in Soviet Armenia, Yuroz fled to the United States in 1986 as a political refugee. He was homeless and drawing on cardboard boxes when he was discovered by a gallery owner turned agent turned wife. 1996 marked the beginning of his incredibly successful artistic career, making an indelible mark on the art world. Yuroz currently resides in los angeles with his wife and 2 kids.
